commitment是投融资文件，尤其是LPA(有限合伙协议)中常见的一个专业词汇，常与capital连用，即capital commitment，译为资本承诺，意思是对于各有限合伙人，该有限合伙人根据其认购协议不时承诺的基金出资额，及根据（如适用）协议的增资，该等承诺额若为普通合伙人代表基金所接受，则可由普通合伙人按照协议条款不时提取。 1
Except for the Carried Interest Partner and Special Limited Partners, the minimum Capital Commitment by a Limited Partner for Interest shall be US$1000,000 (which amount may be decreased or increased at the discretion of the General Partner from time to time and in any particular case).
